The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) proudly emerged as the overall champion at the Second Annual Bahamas Law Enforcement Cooperative Credit Union (BLECCU) Track and Field Classic held at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium on November 15, 2025.

The event featured athletes from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Bahamas Immigration Department, Bahamas Department of Correctional Services, Bahamas Customs Department, and The Bahamas Judiciary. The collaboration demonstrated strong teamwork and sportsmanship, and discipline which defines Bahamian law enforcement.

Once again, the RBDF Tridents secured first place with a commanding total of 289 points, demonstrating their dominance across multiple events in a day of high energy, discipline, and competitive spirit. The Bahamas Immigration Department took second place with 224 points, while the Royal Bahamas Police Force placed third with 219 points. The Bahamas Department of Correctional Services (BDOCS) came in fourth place earning 191 points, while The Bahamas Customs Department (CD) recorded 129 points, and the Judiciary (JD) amassed 30 points.

Participants and spectators applauded the strong show of camaraderie among the various law enforcement branches as they competed in sprints, relays, throws, jumps, and endurance events. The BLECCU Classic continues to strengthen interagency partnerships, boost morale, and encourage healthy competition within the national security sector.

The RBDF, under the leadership of Commodore Floyd Moxey, is optimizing excellence by bridging generations and embracing modernization. As such, we remain committed to fostering physical fitness, unity, and professional development throughout our ranks and rates while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with partner agencies.
