The Engineering Department of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) took the time to event recognized the outstanding contributions and dedication of Chief Petty Officer Serlene Morley and Chief Petty Officer Charles Edgecombe, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the HMBS Coral Harbour Parade Grounds, where they were honored for their exemplary service.

The ceremony celebrated the honorees’ commitment to the Defence Force’s mission and values, highlighting their critical roles in maintaining the operational readiness and technical excellence of the RBDF Engineering Department.

The awards were presented by Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee who was accompanied by Officers and Senior Rates representing the various sub-sections of the Engineering Department.

This event underscores the Defence Force’s ongoing commitment to fostering a high- performance, professional workforce. The focus on performance excellence of the organization and its service members remains a priority for Commodore Raymond King, Commander Defence Force.

The RBDF extends its congratulations to all honorees for their hard work and dedication to upholding the values and mission of the Defence Force.
