On behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder along with a group of Officers, Senior Rates and Junior Rates attended the Ministry of Public Service church service held under the theme, “Honoring the past, Enhancing the Present, Shaping the Future” at Mount Tabor Church on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Scores of public servants throughout the country were also in attendance to worship and fellowship with each other. In his message to the congregation, Bishop Neil C. Ellis, expressed his appreciation for public servants and the service they give daily to the country. He also highlighted that members of the public service require continual prayers not just for their safety as they carry out their mandate, but also for their loved ones as they make tremendous sacrifices on a day-to-day basis. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is dedicated to meeting not only the security needs of the Commonwealth Bahamas but also engaging with the community while guarding our heritage.
