Defence Headquarters, 7 April, 2026 (RBDF): Headquarters personnel demonstrated their commitment to community engagement through a meaningful outreach initiative at the Adventure Learning Centre on Tuesday, March 31 2026.

The Adventure Learning Centre – a Christian-based center and camp was founded in 1993 with a mission to provide children with an exciting hands-on, science-based, outdoor interactive learning experiences to discover God’s creation.

The initiative was led by Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Natasha Miller, as a part of the RBDF’s commitment to nation-building and youth development.

The efforts involved enhancing the learning environment through a general clean-up, painting, and organizing equipment to support the Centre’s preparation for the highly anticipated Easter Family Fun Day activities following a seven-year hiatus.

Commodore Floyd Moxey Commander Defence Force commended the effort, noting that community-centred initiatives demonstrate the RBDF’s dual role of safeguarding national security while impacting the Nation’s youth, building trust, resilience, and unity within the society it serves.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force under Commodore Moxey’s leadership, is optimizing excellence by bridging generations and embracing modernization. As such, we remain steadfast in our mission to Guard Our Heritage, as our Officers and Marines lead by example on land, in the air, at sea, and in service to the Bahamian people.
