The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) demonstrated its continued commitment to fostering community spirit and creating joyful experiences for the families of its personnel during its Annual Children’s Christmas Party, held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at HMBS Coral Harbour Base.

The festivities began with a welcome address delivered by Base Executive Officer, Commander Origin Deleveaux, followed by the opening prayer led by Petty Officer Edna Hart. Families were treated to a day of fun and excitement, with activities such as go-kart racing, bouncing castles, and face painting keeping children thoroughly entertained.

Adding to the festive cheer, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band gave a performance, captivating the attendees and spreading the holiday spirit. The event concluded with a highlight that delighted children and parents alike, as representatives of the RBDF Mess distributed gifts to all attendees, leaving smiles on the faces of children and parents alike.

As part of his intent, Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, ensures that the Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains steadfast in its mission to strengthening family bonds and promoting unity, especially during the festive season.
