he Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) hosted a courtesy call on Friday, 6 February 2026, Defence Force Headquarters, as part of ongoing engagements with key international partners.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) hosted Ms. Yasmin Conroy, British High Commission Vice Consul for Jamaica and The Bahamas, and Mrs. Rosamund Roberts MBE, British Honorary Consul resident in The Bahamas. The British High Commission in Kingston, Jamaica, provides Consular services for British citizens in distress in The Bahamas, as a key UK Government priority. In order to achieve this objective, The British High Commission works closely with key stakeholders and local authorities including the RBDF.
The delegation was formally welcomed by Deputy Commander Defence Force Captain Natasha Miller, accompanied by members of the RBDF Executive Leadership, on behalf of Commander Defence Force Commodore Floyd Moxey. The courtesy call focused on continued cooperation and mutual support for the close partnership, and to strengthen contacts and engagement on matters affecting British citizens residing and visiting The Bahamas.
Vice Consul Conroy noted the value of the close working relationship shared with The Bahamas and highlighted the visit as an opportunity to further strengthen engagements with key stakeholders, including the RBDF. She expressed appreciation for the assistance and support received, underscoring hopes for continued collaboration moving forward.
