Defence Headquarters, 20 JAN ‘25 (RBDF): Participants of the Chief Petty Officer Leadership Course of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) participated in the Annual Bain and Grants Town, Dr. Bernard Nottage Fun Run, Walk, & Health Expo.

The event, hosted by Member of Parliament, Mr. Wayde Watson, was held to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Bernard Nottage, former MP for Bain and Grants Town and former Minister of National Security.

The 5K event drew participation from multiple law enforcement agencies, with special trophies awarded to RBDF marines, including Chief Petty Officer Denise Oliver, Chief Petty Officer Edward Frazier, Chief Petty Officer William Cooper, Chief Petty Officer Dion Davis and Able Seaman Ashley Clarke.

The wife of the late Dr. Bernard Nottage gave her blessings to the event, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their efforts in honoring her husband’s contributions to the community.

Under the leadership of Commodore King, the RBDF remains committed to strengthening community relations, positively affecting lives, and fostering the growth of thriving communities through active engagement and community-building initiatives.
