In the spirit of sharing during this festive season and enforcing the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic objective of strengthening relationships with stakeholders and the community at large as a socially corporate citizen, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force recently made a monetary presentation the Children’s Emergency Hostel.

In the spirit of Christmas which is to “GIVE”, the members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Base Civil/Construction Maintenance Unit (BCCMU) paid a visit to the Children’s Emergency Hostel on Tuesday 22nd December 2020, to make a monetary donation.

Representing BCCMU was the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander Kenneth Forbes, Petty Officer Atama Bowe, and Able Woman Marine Erika Longley.  The Commanding Officer – Lt. Cmdr. Kenneth Forbes said simply “We feel we have an obligation to assist those who may find themselves in challenging circumstances.  So, we are here today to make this small donation that hopefully will assist in bringing some cheer to the lives of the children at the Hostel.”

The business manager at the Hostel Ms. Deandra Gibson gratefully accepted the donation with many thanks.
