The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Morale Welfare and Recreational Unit, led by Welfare Officer, Lieutenant Commander Elvis Bullard, addressed students of the Uriah McPhee Primary School during their “Father Figure” ceremony on Friday, March 10, 2023.During his address, Lieutenant Commander Elvis Bullard noted that although mental health is rarely discussed in society, he emphasized that students should find a community leader they can trust, and to seek responsible individuals who can help them find their purpose.Guidance Counselor Mrs. Dayna Mortimer expressed her gratitude to the Officers and Marines for the encouraging words, which she ensured left an impact in the lives of the students..The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to the development of youth though continued community based partnerships as a corporate citizen.(RBDF Photos by Marine Seaman Calvin Brown Jr.)
