Coral Harbour Base, 10 MAR. ‘20 (RBDF): The Royal Bahamas Defence Force was proud to have participated in this past weekend’s Royal Bahamas Police Force 180th Anniversary Celebration (Fun Run Walk) on Saturday March 7th, 2020.
Congratulations to Marine Seaman Troy Seymour for placing 3rd overall and Marine Seaman Wellington Ramsey who came in 4th place overall.
Among those in attendance were Acting Commander Defence Force Captain Raymond King and Mrs. King. Captain King commended the RBDF Officers and Marines for their excellent efforts in maintaining an exemplary edge in sports and fitness also thanked those who participated in the events here in New Providence and Grand Bahama over the weekend in support of their partnering law enforcement agencies.
This event was one of several activities as the Police Force observes 180 years of service to the country, and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force also observes 40 years as an official organization.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to strengthen its partnerships with its local law enforcement agencies as they engage in sporting activities.
