The RBDF Patrollers opened their season in the Bahamas Government Departmental Basketball Association at the A.F. Adderley Gymnasium on 5 July 2025. In attendance was the Deputy Commander of the Defence Force, Captain Natasha Miller.
The game was an exciting back-and-forth matchup against the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Panthers.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band energized the crowd with a spirited halftime performance.
Although the Patrollers had hoped to start the season with a win, the Panthers ultimately prevailed.
The RBDF Patrollers next game will be a showdown with the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services Challengers on 16 July 2025 at 8:30 p.m. a rematch of last year’s thrilling quarterfinals.
