DEFENCE HEADQUARTERS, 19 JUN. ‘23 (RBDF): Officers and Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, paid final their respects to the late Petty Officer Timmilee Williams during a Full Military Funeral Service on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Living Waters Kingdom Ministries, Warren Street.
Bringing remarks on behalf of herself and the Government of the Bahamas was the Honorable Glenys Hanna- Martin who expressed heartfelt condolences to the family as she reflected on memorable moments and her personal interactions with Williams, describing her as an individual who carried out her duties with pride and diligence.
Rendering the eulogy was Apostle Raymond Wells, Defence Force Chaplain. Following the service, Officers and Marines honored the 20-year serving member in full military procession that commenced at Robinson Road, concluding at the Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Also in attendance was State Minister for the Public Service, the Honorable Pia Glover-Rolle and former Commodore’s Clifford Scavella and Roderick Bowe.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is appreciative of the noble contributions that Petty Officer Williams has made during her tenure, and extends sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones on behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, his Executive Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior Rates, Junior Rates and Veterans.
