RBDF PAYS FINAL RESPECTS TO THE LATE SENATOR RODNEY MONCUR

Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Natasha Miller, along with members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF), paid their final respects to the late Senator Rodney Moncur during the official body viewing held at The Senate, Parliament Square.

Lying in state at such a historic location served as a respectful acknowledgment of Senator Moncur’s contributions to national life. A former Senator, radio personality, social activist, and consultant to the Ministry of National Security, Senator Moncur was known for his steadfast advocacy and unwavering commitment to the Bahamian people.

The RBDF contingent later attended the official funeral service at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, where Senator Moncur was laid to rest. The service reflected the wide-reaching impact of his public life, honoring his years of service with dignity and solemnity.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force extends sincere condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the late Senator Rodney Moncur, and joins the nation in honouring his life and legacy.
