The Welfare section of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force recently visited the Officers and Marines deployed at various outstations. In keeping with the Commander Defence Force’s intent, visits were made as it pertained to the well-being of RBDF personnel.
This latest initiative was launched with to access the welfare needs and morale to those individuals stationed at various RBDF outposts. Chief Petty Officer John Ingraham and Petty Officer Eunice Rolle, members of that section, also visited the homes of Force Chief Petty Officer Shawn Rolle and Able Seaman Jamaal Moxey, who are both on extended sick leave. Prayers and words of encouragement were offered for the men, who were happy for the brief visit.
According to Chief Petty Officer Ingraham, this initiative was well-received and welcomed with enthusiasm. As the men and women continue to patrol and protect the territorial waters of The Bahamas, their morale and well-being are essential elements for a successful operation.
