n a show of solidarity and sisterhood, female personnel of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) joined the congregation of New Covenant Baptist Church on Sunday, 20 July 2025, in celebration of their Annual Women’s Day service under the theme “Sisters of the Covenant”.
The RBDF delegation, proudly led by Lieutenant Commander Ruperthera Symonette, stood out as a unified body of strength, grace, and service. The women’s presence not only reinforced their commitment to nation-building, but also highlighted their deep-rooted values of faith and community partnership.
The spirit-filled service featured a powerful message of encouragement and empowerment, recognizing the role of women in both spiritual and national life. The theme “Sisters of the Covenant” reflected a collective commitment to unity, purpose, and legacy.
As part of the RBDF’s continued outreach efforts, engagements such as this reinforce the Force’s dedication to fostering strong community ties while celebrating the achievements and contributions of women in all walks of life.
