REAR ADMIRAL SCOTT F. ROBERTSON PAID COURTESY CALL ON COMMANDER DEFENCE FORCE

Rear Admiral Scott F. Robertson, Director of Strategy, Policy & Plans for North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), paid a visit to Commander Defence Force, Commodore Floyd Moxey on 10 June 2025. The meeting served to strengthen the longstanding military partnership between the United States and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF).

During the discussions, both leaders addressed shared interests concerning regional security and efforts to combat criminal activity. The US delegation also engaged with the RBDF’s executive leadership team to explore new strategies aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and capabilities of the organization’s personnel and vessels.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Commander Defence Force, Commodore Floyd Moxey presented Rear Admiral Robertson with commemorative gifts as a token of appreciation and goodwill.

Under the leadership of Commodore Floyd Moxey, the RBDF continues to demonstrate its commitment to working collaboratively with local and international partners in the fight against transnational crimes while fulfilling its mission to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
