Commander Defence Force, Commodore Floyd Moxey convened an Executive Officers Conclave on 27 May 2025 at the Balmoral Club as part of a strategic initiative to align leadership and prepare for the continued advancement of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF).
The gathering brought together senior officers of the RBDF for a day of focused discussion, strategic planning, and reaffirmation of commitment to national security.
The conclave also provided a platform for the executive leadership to map out operational priorities, strengthen internal coordination, and explore new approaches to supporting not only national, but also regional security objectives.
Minister of National Security, the Hon. Wayne Munroe, K.C., commended Commodore Moxey for spearheading the initiative. He encouraged the RBDF executive team to meet regularly, drawing a parallel to the Cabinet’s daily sessions, as a means to remain agile and responsive in an evolving security environment. He also reassured them of the Government’s continued support for a proactive and strategically engaged Defence Force.
The conclave commenced with a moment of spiritual reflection, led by RBDF Chaplain, Apostle Dr. Raymond Wells, who offered a special prayer for the service members and the nation. The conclave featured a range of speakers, each offering unique insights and valuable contributions to the event as a whole.
The RBDF remains committed to excellence, service, and national duty, and this conclave marks another step forward in building a resilient and forward-looking military organization.
