The Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) Bahamas Team paid a courtesy call on Commander Defence Force, Commodore Floyd Moxey, at Defence Headquarters on John F. Kennedy Drive on 16 June 2025. The visit served as a gesture of goodwill and collaboration, during which the RCG team extended their congratulations to Commodore Moxey on his recent appointment and discussed key matters of mutual interest.

Commodore Moxey, accompanied by members of his Executive Leadership Team, warmly received the delegation. The meeting focused on building strategic relationships in anticipation of the upcoming launch of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Paradise Island experience, scheduled for December 2025. Discussions included the importance of safe harbour operations, environmental considerations, and maintaining open lines of communication between the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and the Royal Caribbean Group as the project progresses.

As a symbol of continued partnership and transparency, the Royal Caribbean team extended an invitation to Commodore Moxey to visit the development site of the new beach club. The exchange underscored a shared commitment to national security, environmental stewardship, and sustainable tourism.
