During the courtesy call, Brigadier General Andrew Chevalier opened discussions centered on matters of mutual interest and shared concern, particularly how the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) continues to safeguard the sovereignty of The Bahamas through strategic partnerships that address maritime threats. Emphasis was placed on enhancing maritime domain awareness and exploring avenues through which the RBDF can further benefit from its enduring relationship with international allies.

In his contribution, The Hon. Wayne Munroe, Minister of National Security, expressed his sincere appreciation to the United States Embassy and the Rhode Island National Guard for their unwavering support and longstanding partnership with both the RBDF and the Ministry of National Security.

A ceremonial exchange followed, with the presentation of a token of appreciation to Minister Munroe, and a subsequent special presentation made to Commander Defence Force Commodore Floyd Moxey.

Also in attendance were Mrs. Gaynell Rolle, Undersecretary in the Ministry of National Security; Members of The Rhode Island National Guard, Members of the RBDF Executive Leadership Team; and Aide de Camps Lieutenant Commander Dominique Rigby and Lieutenant Darius Adams.

Under the leadership of Commodore Floyd Moxey, the RBDF continues to demonstrate its steadfast commitment to working collaboratively with local and international partners in the fight against transnational crimes while fulfilling its mission to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
