Defence Headquarters, 15 DEC ’23 (RBDF): The Military Police and Force Protection Unit of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force proudly honored seven (7) of its members during an awards ceremony held aboard HMBS Coral Harbour on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Leading Seaman John Gator, Able Seaman Keron Ingraham, Able Seaman Wilton Brown, Marine Seaman Deavion Sherman, and Marine Seaman Shannon Mackey were recognized with awards for Marine of the Quarter. Leading Seaman Renaldo McKenzie, Able Seaman Wilton Brown, and Marine Seaman Rhondi Davis were bestowed with the prestigious Marine of the Year awards.
Commendations were presented in acknowledgment of their unwavering consistency, outstanding excellence, and adherence to the highest standards in the performance of their assigned duties. Presenting the awards were Captain Coral Harbour Captain Glenn McPhee and Senior Commander Fredrick Brown accompanied by department heads.
These accolades aligns with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s commitment to talent management, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and rewarding the exceptional contributions of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s high-performing members. The RBDF remains steadfast in its dedication to the pursuit of excellence in “Guarding Our Heritage.”
