The Institute for Security Governance (ISG) recently held a series of meetings with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force at Defence Headquarters, John F. Kennedy Drive.The meetings which took place from September 7-9 were aimed at facilitating discussions on the National Security Strategy and its overall objective. Discussions related to the Bilateral Security Cooperation Framework (BSCF) Executive Session for Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) meeting held on Coral Harbour Base in April 2022 were also held.More specifically, the event provided an opportunity to learn how to improve on existing processes related to strategy development, capabilities-based planning, and force management in line with the Ministry of National Security’s overall National Security Strategy.The meetings were led by Mr. Michael Knutson from ISG, and his colleagues Mr. Chip Leonard, and Mr. Aaron Davenport from the RAND Group, who paid a courtesy call on the Minister of National Security, the Honourable Wayne Munroe QC and Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, before the sessions commenced.The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to Guarding Our Heritage.(RBDF Photos by: Able Seaman Michael E.
