Defence Headquarters, 17 OCT. ‘23 (RBDF): In an exciting series of games, the Royal
Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) softball teams both faced off against formidable opponents in playoffs, at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The RBDF Waves, who faced off against the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) Interceptors suffered a tough 14-5 loss, while the RBDF Floaters in an even closer score of 18-17, lost to the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) Lasers.

Despite the challenging losses, the RBDF Waves and Floaters displayed exceptional teamwork and unwavering morale throughout the games. They fought hard until the very end, leaving fans with a sense of pride in their dedication to the sport. Both teams are still in the playoffs and have their sights set on advancing to the championship game.

This upcoming weekend, the RBDF Floaters will once again square off against the BTC Lasers, hoping to turn the tide in their favor. It promises to be another exciting matchup at the Blue Hill Sporting Complex.

These sorts of events strengthen the bonds and comradery between other organizations who also contribute to the care and safety of the Bahamian community. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to embody excellence in safeguarding their heritage, both on and off the field.
