4 Year Program Bachelor of Science Degree in 8 areas of study:
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
• Operations Research
• Marine and Environment Sciences
• Government
• Mechanical Engineering
• Management
Applicants must possess the following attributes:
• Excellent English Skills
• Must be Physically Fit
• Must be 17 but NOT 22 by 1 July 2017
• Must have SAT with a minimum of 600 in mathematics and 600 on the verbal or ACT minimum of 600 in mathematics and 27 in the verbal
• Candidates must NOT have any legal dependents
• Candidates must NOT be married
• Must have a High School Diploma or Certificate
Critical dates in the application process are as follows:
• Aug 16-Jan 17…….Register and take the SAT Reasoning/ACT and the TOEFL exams
• 1 February 16……..Deadline for candidate’s complete application packages
• March 17 …………..Notification of International Cadet appointments
• 1 May 17-Jun 17…..International cadets coordinate travel arrangements, visa Paperwork confirmation of health insurance and entrance deposit with USCGA
• 21 Jun 17 …………..International cadet candidates report to USCGA for orientation
• 27 Jun 17 ………….Summer training program begins for Class of 2021
