In alignment with the strategic focus of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, on Talent Management, Marines within the Administration Branch were acknowledged for their unwavering dedication and hard work during the third quarter (July-September) at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR on Monday, October 30, 2023.
The Award Ceremony featured two levels of recognition: the Departmental level and the Branch level. At the departmental level, honors were bestowed upon L/S Demetrius Clarke, A/B Emmanuel Johnson, and Marine Seaman Georgio Pratt from the Administration Department; Leading Seaman Deron Adderely, Able Woman Marine Andrieka Brown, and Marine Seaman Benjamin Mackey from the RBDF Band; and Leading Seaman Bernard Barr, Able Seaman De’Angelo Greene, and M/S Kenneth Sears from the Ceremonial Team.
Similarly, Leading Seaman Justin Sturrup, Able Woman Zovinar Hoyte, and Woman Marine Rickisha Woodside from the Medical Facility; and Leading Seaman Denaldo Thompson, Able Marine Lasheika Morley, and Marine Seaman Tevin McPhee from the Youth Development Program were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
The ceremony also shone a spotlight on Marines whose exceptional efforts and unwavering commitment earned them recognition at the Branch level. Leading Seaman Demetrius Clarke, Able Woman Marine Lasheika Morley, and Marine Seaman Tevin McPhee emerged as the overall winners due to their remarkable performance demonstrated throughout the third quarter.
The awards were presented by Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee, and Base Executive Officer Commander Origin Deleveaux, accompanied by Department Heads and Force Chaplain Apostle Raymond Wells.
