The Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) is proud to announce that Senior Rates have successfully completed the Petty Officer Leadership &Supervisory Management Course at RBDF Coral Harbour Base from October 14 – 20 October , 2023.
This two-week comprehensive training program is designed to inspire the highest standards of excellence integrity, and professionalism among military personnel. Though intense, the training is purposed toward equipping our enlisted personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in leadership and supervisory management roles.
During the course, twelve professional subjects were covered which reinforced practical leadership and supervisory management principles and includes both theoretical assessments and practical evaluations to ensure proficiency.
Participants were continuously challenged to demonstrate competence, exhibit leadership abilities, an maintain naval bearing. This program is a vital step in our commitment to developing capable leaders and supervisors within our rates and ranks.
The RBDF under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, is dedicated to the transformation of Defence Force personnel’s quality and capabilities, through the continuous development of service members, as we seek to accomplish the Defence Force’s Mandate.
In completion to the Petty Officer Leadership & Supervisory Management Course a community cleanup project was conducted. All Course members unite together and skirmish the coral harbor beach, following was the roadside clean up aspect in which, all form of garbage were bagged and discarded.
