Defence Headquarters 21 SEP ’23: Members of the Rhode Island National Guard commenced a week-long Professional Development Workshop Seminar for Warrant Officers of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force at HMBS Coral Harbour Base on September 18, 2023. 

The Seminar led by Command Sargent Major Michael Wong sought to embrace and enhance the professionalism within the organization amongst active service members and encompassed topics on Mentorship of Junior Enlisted and Self Development. 

Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder brought remarks during the opening ceremony on behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, highlighting the collective effort and partnership put forth byboth entities to foster camaraderie and develop steadfast leaders who embrace growth. 

Also in attendance were Captain Jonathan Griffith and team of representatives from The Rhode Island National Guard, RBDF Executive Officers, Department Heads and Force Chaplin, Apostle Raymond Wells.
