Defence Headquarters, 15 MAR’ 24 (RBDF): Today, the Royal Bahamas Defence Fore
participated in the opening ceremony and exhibition for the Commemoration of World
Consumers Rights Day, which took place at the Mall at Marathon, Bahamas.
The exhibition took place to create provisional awareness on consumer rights internationally,
introduce artificial intelligence benefits in consumer rights and finally to celebrate World
Consumer Rights Day. Under this year’s theme of “Fair and Responsible AI For Consumers”, the following agencies were in attendance; The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, The Royal Bahamas Police Force, The
Ministry of Economic Affairs and lastly, the Consumer Protection Commission.
Under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, the RBDF
is dedicated to exploring advanced technology and fostering innovation. Understanding the
passion and talent within the organization’s human capital, the aim is to unlock their potential,
and one way is to embrace modern technology and encourage creative thinking, which will
undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing success of the RBDF.
