In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic vision for a more community-active and youth-involved organization. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force took part in a career fair at the Aquinas College Institution on Wednesday 31 August 2022 at 9 am. This career fair was designed to give the young and innovative thinkers a sense of what they seek to pursue after they leave the four walls of high school.The career fair, which was held within Loyola Hall, and was spearheaded by the school’s vice-principal Ms. Leandra Kelly and her hardworking administrative team welcomed various organizations and partners. Bringing remarks before the official commencement of the event was Sub Lieutenant Preston Major who is no stranger to the Aquinas College family where he served as head boy and received numerous awards and accolades during his tenure there, also in attendance was Senior Lieutenant Lennox Coleby who is also an Aquinas College alumni who also served as their head boy during his tenure at this prestigious institution.Sub Lieutenant Major challenged the youth within his remarks to not only follow their dreams but also their true passion as that in itself will fuel their purpose and drive towards excellence wherever it may be.The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains not only committed to work within our communities but also to the overall development of our youth because they are truly the key to a prosperous nation.
