Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, along with Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shondel Pinder and other officers from the Executive Command Team, accompanied by Defence Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells were in attendance at Mount Tabor Church located on Willow Tree Avenue, this morning for the early morning church service.Mount Tabor Church is shepherded by Bishop Neil C. Ellis, who is currently the senior pastor of the church. Commodore, Raymond King in his address noted that the Royal Bahamas Defence was invited to worship with the church some eighteen months ago but due to the nature of Covid during that time period it was not feasible. He also spoke to the fact that members of the Defence Force need continual prayers not just for our safety as we carry out the mandate set forth to us but also for our loved ones that are by are side as we make tremendous sacrifices on a day to day basis. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is committed to continual community outreach and development and will strive to meet not only the security needs of the Commonwealth but also the engagement of the community as a whole.
