Minister of National Security, the Hon. Wayne Munroe KC and members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Chaplaincy Department paid a special visit to the family of the late Marine Seaman Alvarez McCoy yesterday afternoon.During the visit, the Hon. Wayne Munroe, KC offered sincere condolences and uplifting words to loved ones gathered at the family home. He also thanked McCoy’s mother for her role in raising her son to become a Marine in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells imparted comforting words as he prayed over the family ensuring them that they are not alone. He also relayed remarks on behalf of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, members of his Executive Team, Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior Rates, Junior Rates and Veterans of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.Also in attendance were representatives from the Engineering Department, New Entry 55 and the Junior Rates Mess in support of the family.(RBDF Photo by Woman Marine Raven Hepburn)
