Officers and Senior enlisted of the Force’s Engineering Department met with Commander Defence Force Commodore Dr. Raymond King at Defence Headquarters, to reveal the new Engineering Pin.The Base Engineering Officer, Lieutenant Commander Nevada Bain accompanied his predecessor, Lieutenant Commander Gordon Roberts, Warrant Officers and Senior Enlisted after brief remarks, presented the first pin to Commodore King who also started his naval career as an Engineer. Force Chief Petty Officer Marcello Charlow who led the project explained the ergonomics of the revolving design to include all subsections that fall under the Engineering Department. More notably, he explained the criteria that only members who have successfully completed Technical Training will be able to adorn the pin. This also includes the Force’s Retirees and Veterans.The new pin was then also presented to the members of the engineering department that were in attendance by the Commodore King.
