Defence Headquarters, 11 OCT. ‘23 (RBDF): In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic intent of developing a high-performance and professional workforce focused on performing excellence, three Marines of the Accounts Department were recognized as Marines of the Quarter for their outstanding contributions and dedication to duty during an award ceremony held at Defence Headquarters on October 10, 2023.
Able Seaman Shennory Forbes received the first quarter award (January- March) for demonstrating unwavering dedication, professionalism, and a relentless work ethic throughout the first quarter. His exceptional attention to detail and tireless efforts have significantly contributed to the success of the Accounts Department.
Leading Woman Marine Keisha Wilson was selected as the Marine of the Second Quarter (April-June), for her display of exemplary leadership and her ability to inspire and motivate her colleagues in achieving the department’s goals.
Able Woman Marine Oshana McPhee was selected as Marine of the Third Quarter and has consistently displayed a high level of competence and efficiency in her duties. Her determination to excel has set a standard that reflects the organization’s core values.
Presenting the awards were Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond king, Captain Henry Daxon, Executive Staff Officer and Department Heads.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force extends a Bravo Zulu to Able Seaman Shennory Forbes, Leading Woman Marine Keisha Wilson, and Able Woman Marine Oshana McPhee for their exceptional achievements as their dedication, professionalism, and tireless efforts exemplify the highest standards of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
