On November 3, 2023, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Medical Facility continued its community service initiative by visiting Pat’s Senior Citizens Home, where they brought entertainment to the residents.
Upon arrival at Pat’s Senior Citizens Home, the Marines were graciously welcomed by Mrs. Allison Mason Rolle, the facility’s administrator. Mrs. Rolle courteously guided the Marines through a brief tour of the premises, allowing them to interact with the residents, which set the tone for the visit.
The Medical Staff arranged a room with various board games, providing the Senior Citizens with enjoyable activities to engage in. In addition to the games, the medics brought lively entertainment, including music and even shared a dance or two with the residents.
The Defence Force Marines presented a donation of essential supplies to Patricia Moxey, the owner of Pat’s Senior Citizens Home. The gesture symbolized the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within the community.
Under the visionary leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond E. King, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to exemplify its dedication to being a responsible corporate citizen through a series of extensive outreach initiatives and projects. These endeavors aim to not only strengthen community relations but also bring joy and positivity to the lives of individuals, ultimately contributing to the development of vibrant and thriving communities.
