Colonel Anton Gash, UK Defence Attaché to The Bahamas paid a courtesy call on the Acting Commander Defence Force, Captain Raymond King at HMBS Coral Harbour on February 10th, 2020.
During the visit, Colonel Anton Gash and Captain King along with members of the Defence Force’s Senior Command conferred matters of mutual interests. They also conferred on matters relating to local multi-personnel training with the RBDF Officers and Marines. Prior to conducting such course, an analysis will be carried out to ensure that all necessary tools and resources are provided.
This type of training will enhance the RBDF’s Human Resources Development, thus opening the gateway to train service members in larger volumes and hence helping to solidify the organization in carrying out its mandate more efficiently and effectively.
At the culmination of the visit, both parties exchanged pleasantries.
The Royal Bahamas Defence Force values its international partners and will continue to do its part in safeguarding our nation.
