Major General Christopher Callahan, the Adjutant General, Rhode Island, paid a courtesy call on Minister of National Security, the Honourable Wayne Munroe and Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King at Defence Headquarters, John F. Kennedy Drive, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Also, in attendance was U.S. Embassy Senior Defence Official, Captain Greg Gellman, Deputy Commander Defence Force, Captain Shonedel Pinder, RBDF Staff Legal Officer, Captain Shawn Adderley, and other representatives from the US Embassy. During the meeting, parties discussed matters of mutual interests between both countries. Some of these included capacity building, security cooperation and further training. They both also expressed their commitment to strengthening the already strong relationship between The Bahamas and the United States.Major General Callahan earlier that day also attended the Flamingo Ceremony at RBDF Coral Harbour base where he made a presentation to Commander Defence Force, Commodore King.(RBDF Photos by Able Seaman Michael E.
