The Royal Bahamas Defence Force extends its sincerest condolences to the family of the late Force Chief Petty Officer (Retired) Paul Miller, who passed away on 11 January 2023.Force Chief Petty Officer Miller was one of the first candidates to enlist in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force as a member of Entry Two on January 3, 1978. Throughout his career, he served in various departments and sub-sections of the Defence Force, including the Training Department, Military Operations Platoon, the Squadron Department, and the Administration Department. His final tour of duty was that of an Administrator in the Welfare Department.A decorated Senior Enlisted, Force Chief Petty Officer Miller was a member of the second CARICOM contingent, which served with the Peacekeeping Mission in Haiti in 1994. He officially retired on January 3, 2003, after giving his country twenty-five years of outstanding service. The Force is grateful for the sacrifice he has made on behalf of the establishment and his country. The Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King extends his sincerest condolences on behalf of the members of his Executive Command, Officers, Senior Enlisted and Junior Marines of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and himself to family members and friends of the late Force Chief Petty Officer Miller. It is our prayer that God’s grace will comfort and guide them during their time of bereavement.
