Defence Headquarters, 16 Sept. ‘23 (RBDF): In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic focus on Talent Management, Marines under the Administration Branch were recognized for their hard work and dedication shown during the 2nd quarter (April-June) in an award presentation at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR on Friday, 15 September 2023.

The Award Ceremony was executed at two levels the Departmental level and the Branch level. Receiving honors at the departmental level were Able Seaman Chad Cleare (Administration Department), Leading Seaman Miguel Neely, Able Woman Marine Andrieka Brown, Marine Seaman Daqua n Smith, RBDF Band, Leading Seaman Demetrius Clarke and Woman Marine Bredia Ferguson (Clifford Scavella Fitness Center), Leading Seaman Justin Sturrup, Able Woman  Zovinar Hoyte and Marine Seaman Ethan Munroe (Medical Facility), Leading Woman Edna Hart and Able Seaman Antonio Levarity (Morale Welfare & Recreational Unit), and Leading Seaman Owen Shariff and Able Woman Marine Eddecia Carey, Marine Seaman Warshawski Smith (Youth Development Program).  

The ceremony also highlighted the Marines whose outstanding efforts and boundless commitment afforded them recognition from the Branch level. Marine Seaman Ethan Munroe, Able Woman Marine Zovinar Hoyte and Leading Seman Justin Sturrup was the overall winners for their remarkable performance demonstrated throughout the second quarter.

Presenting the awards were Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Glenn McPhee and Base Executive Officer, Commander Origin Deleveaux accompanied by Department Heads and Force Chaplain Apostle Raymond Wells.

‘BRAVO ZULO” is extended to all recipients for their outstanding accomplishments. The RBDF remains dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in guarding our heritage.
