As part of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Dr. Raymond King’s strategic intent of developing a professional and high-performance workforce, Eighteen Marines from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force were recognized after completing their Technical Training Course on Monday, June 20, 2022, at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR.Led by Course Instructor, Chief Petty Officer Renaldo Farquharson, the training conducted under the Engineering Department, familiarized and equipped the Marines with the skills and knowledge necessary to function in various technical disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Hull, Radio and Air Condition, and Mechanical.They will be instrumental in assisting the Department with performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of the RBDF Fleet and satellite bases. During the brief graduation ceremony, Captain Coral Harbour, and Captain Gregory Brown, brought remarks and congratulated the participants.Also, in attendance were the Base Engineering Officer, Lieutenant Commander Nevada Bain, Engineering Procurement Officer, Lieutenant Commander Jeremy Allens, Fleet Maintenance Officer, Lieutenant Commander Gordon Roberts, Engineering Officer for HMBS Lawrence Major, Sub Lieutenant Antonio Adderley, Force Chaplain, Apostle Raymond Wells along with the Engineering Warrant Officers.To conclude the course graduation, each of the course participants was presented with certificates for their achievements.The Royal Bahamas Defence Force remains committed to the pursuit of excellence while Guarding Our Heritage.
