On Monday June 20, 2022 Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King attended the official opening of the educational and purpose driven entrepreneurial workshop at the Bahamas Agriculture and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) facility. Bringing remarks during the official opening of the workshop was The Minister of National Security, the Honorable Wayne Munroe, Q.C. The purpose driven entrepreneurial workshop is geared towards Commander Defence Force’s strategic objective of developing a high performance and professional workforce. More importantly, this workshop will aid in equipping RBDF personnel with the essential knowledge and skills needed as they move towards retirement from the organization. Each participant is grateful to BAIC for the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills to a higher level.Also, attending the event was the Honorable Leroy Major, Chairman of BAIC, Commander Judy McDonald, RBDF Veterans Affairs Officer, Aide de Camp Lieutenant Commander Delvonne Duncombe, Command Warrant Officer Remone Storr, and Mari Dunleavy, Advisor to the Director for Institutional Linkages Representative in the Bahamas.In concluding the event, Minister Munroe urged the participants to embrace the opportunity afforded to them during the week-long training workshop.
