These hikes are designed to challenge youths to push themselves harder than they have ever been before, but let alone the sole purpose and mandate is to prepare children with the skills for not only for city life, but also life outside of our shores. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force has been committed since 2018 in assisting the Pathfinders program with several hikes also equipping these young adventurers with the skills they need to carry out their field exercises that stem from field navigation to basic camping skills.
