Defence Headquarters, 26 APRIL. ‘24 (RBDF): A total of forty-two (42) suspected migrants were recently apprehended by members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force within the past 48-hour.
This apprehension was made possible by His Majesty’s Bahamian Ship Rolly Gray, under the command of Senior Lieutenant Miska Clarke on Friday April 26th. The migrants, who were intercepted in a red and green sailing vessel in Gunn Point, Ragged, were subsequently brought into the capital.
They all appeared to be in good health and were all turned over to the relevant authorities for further processing.
With the strategic plans set forth by the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force will remain dedicated in continuing to defend our nation’s borders.
