In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic focus on strengthening partnerships and relationships with regional partners, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) hosted the Security Cooperation Synchronization Workshop (SCSW) on February 8th-9th, 2023, at Coral Harbour Base. The key focus of the two-day workshop was to continue Bilateral Security Cooperation Framework (BSCF) discussions and validate security cooperation objectives and programs in the context led by Capt. Gregg Gellman – Senior Defense Attaché, Office of Defense Cooperation, U.S Embassy Nassau, Bahamas, and co-led by Capt. Glenn McPhee, RBDF Bilateral Security Framework Lead.Also in attendance were RBDF Senior Executives and BSCF Leads, Colonel Michael Jones, United States Northern Command representatives, BHS Office of Defense Cooperation, United States Coast Guard District 7, and Rhode Island National Guard representatives. The SCSW event was conducted in preparation of the BSCF executive sessions scheduled for May 2023, which will be led by the Co-Chairs Rear Admiral, Scott Robertson and Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King.
