A total of eight Cuban migrants were transported to New Providence this morning by Defence Force patrol craft HMBS BAHAMAS after they were apprehended in Bahamian waters.While on routine patrol, HMBS BAHAMAS under the command of Lieutenant Commander Alexis Brown, discovered eight Cuban males off of Cay Lobos yesterday. The Cubans who appeared to be in good health, were handed over to Immigration Officials upon arrival for further processing. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to remain vigilant and committed to “Guarding our Heritage”.
