The Welfare Morale and Recreational Unit hosted a dynamic Financial Forum bringing together professionals and experts in the financial sector who brought their wealth of expertise and experience for an insightful and enriching discussion on financial budgeting & and management, financial planning, investment strategies, and overall financial well-being held in the training auditorium onboard HMBS Coral Harbour at 1000hrs, on February 09, 2024.
This financial forum aimed to empower members of the RBDF with essential financial knowledge and to better manage their finances. The forum featured esteemed guest speakers, including Ms. Anita Collie of the Bahamas Law Enforcement Cooperative Credit Union (BLECCU) who shared valuable insights into the unique financial services and benefits offered by the cooperative union Her presentation highlighted the importance of financial literacy and the role that BLECCU plays in supporting the financial needs of law enforcement professionals and Ms. Tennese Bowe along with other representatives from Fidelity Bank delivered an engaging presentation on banking services, investment opportunities, and best practices for
financial success. As persons listened in each gained valuable knowledge on optimizing their banking experience.
This event fostered an interactive session providing personalized guidance to each listener in a collaborative environment, allowing persons to ask questions, share experiences, and gain practical insights into navigating the complexities of personal finance.
