Defence Headquarters, 26 JUN. ‘23 (RBDF): Aligning with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic objective of strengthening relationships with stakeholders and the community at large, members of the RBDF Disaster Risk Management Unit conducted a community outreach relation at the Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters, Market Street, on 22-23 June 2023.
During the two-day exercise led by Commander Sonia Miller, RBDF personnel assisted the Salvation Army’s distribution center with the packaging of food items and preparation of meals to aid members within the community. These items were distributed to individuals the following day. Salvation Army Divisional Leader, Major Marc Eddy Momplaisir, expressed his appreciation for the assistance by RBDF members as they gave back to their community through acts of service.
