Thirty-five (35) cadets of the National Youth Guard showcased their commitment to community service as part of their training at the Edmund Moxey Community Park on February 17, 2024.
The event included a park cleanup where cadets demonstrated teamwork and discipline in completing the task. The event not only provided the cadets with valuable hands-on training but also emphasized the importance of civic responsibility and community engagement.
The National Youth Guard program is designed to train future leaders; and instill a sense of duty, responsibility, and service to the community. The Edmund Moxey Community Park, a central district for residents, will benefit greatly from their efforts, creating a cleaner and more welcoming environment for all community members to enjoy.
The RBDF, under the leadership of Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King, remains steadfast in its mission to foster the development of our nation through active partnerships with youth programs that instill qualities of discipline and leadership, empowering the next generation to become exemplary corporate citizens and contribute to society in impactful and purposeful ways.
