Captain Glenn McPhee along with three other RBDF service members who recently participated in Tradewinds 2022 held in Belize, paid a courtesy call on Commodore Dr. Raymond E. King to present a plaque of participation. The team consisted of 28 RBDF personnel inclusive of Officers, Warrant Officers, Senior and Junior Rates who were integrated throughout many critical components necessary for success of Tradewinds. Tradewinds is a combined, joint Caribbean focused training exercise that has been held from 1984 and co-hosted by partner nations. RBDF team members participated from 7 May and culminated with a closing parade of participating countries on May 20 at (BATSUB) British Army Training Support Unit Belize where plaques and other awards were presented to representatives of each country. Marine Seaman Matthew Bethell, who enlisted in March of 2019 as a member of New Entry 56 Woman Entry 25 and also participated in Tradewinds for the first time was the recipient of the plaque of participation.The RBDF remains committed to Guarding Our Heritage.
