President Antoine Adams, Warrant Officers and Senior Rates (WOSR) of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force held its Annual Cake Cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 31st at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR.Attended by the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Dr. Raymond King, Deputy Commander Defence Force, Shonedel Pinder and Captain Coral Harbour, Captain Gregory Brown, the event is in collaboration of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s 42nd Anniversary. In his brief remarks, Commodore King charged and encouraged senior ratings to be examples to the junior marines, and continue to develop them to become building blocks to a thriving and functional Defence Force.The event symbolizes the harmony and dedication of the Warrant Officers and Senior Rates within the Royal Bahamas Defence Force. In upholding the Military custom, the oldest and youngest present serving members were chosen for the traditional cutting of the cake.Commodore King’s strategic intent is the continual development of the men and women of the organization, as it remains committed to guarding the Heritage of The Bahamas.(RBDF Photos by: Able Seaman Paul Rolle II)
